Dan Quirk’s Paladins of the Broken Sword

Today’s blog post feature’s Dan Quirk’s (aka Corai on a few forums) Warriors of Chaos army.
Dan did extremely well to win best painted army at the recent Warhammer Achievements event, which really was an achievement given the incredible quality of the other armies at the event.

The background of Dan’s army is that they are part of an ancient Knightly order known as the Paladins of the Broken Sword. Once noble and brave Knights fighting for good, they have been corrupted by Tzeentch into twisted reflections of their former selves.

Dan has used a striking blue to red fade across a number of parts of the army, most notably on the shields. This has been hand blended using a two brush blending technique, no airbrush cheating here!

Enjoy, and if you have any question for Dan you can catch him on Twitter @Film_Corai.

Cheers,
Jon
